You are invited to attend the Volunteer Orientation on September 23. All new volunteers must attend an orientation session. You will learn about Lazarus House, see all the volunteer opportunities that are available, and take a tour of the house. Join in the fun with the Sycamore Odd Fellows #105 as they host a Meat Raffle featuring items from Ream’s Meat Market. The Odd Fellows will be selling raffle tickets for various items throughout the evening and spinning the Wheel of Meat to announce the winners. All Profits benefit Lazarus House.

Visit the Geneva History Museum, 113 S. 3rd Street from November 21 through December 23 to view the Lazarus House tree decorated by the Geneva East Book Club. There are 14 local non profit trees to enjoy. Vote for our tree with your dollars at the museum or vote online at Geneva History Museum. The tree with the most votes will be declared the winner. We are proud to boast our tree was the 2016 winner! Let’s make it 2 years in a row!
TIME FOR A THANKSGIVING FEAST!
You are invited to join us at our annual community Thanksgiving dinner!. Our potluck style buffet gives us the opportunity to enjoy the culinary talents of many people, work together as a community with all the preparations for the meal, and enjoy fellowship as we dine together.

CHRISTMAS – THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF YEAR!
Our annual Community Christmas Brunch will be celebrated on December 25. Plans for this event are in progress and more details are coming soon.
Town House Books & Cafe started a program to give back to their community in December of 2014. Since then, they have donated a portion of their sales on one Tuesday of every month to a different local charity or organization. 20% of all sales in either the book store or cafe will be donated to Lazarus House on January 9th, 2018. So far this program has generated over $10,000 to local charities. Thank you Town House Books & Cafe and especially Doug Bella and David Hunt for their contributions to our community.
Join the fun and watch the St. Charles East High School versus St. Charles North High School Basketball Teams as they raise money for Lazarus House during their Hoops for Hope games! Girls game starts at 5:30 and the Boys are at 7:00. Tickets are payable at the door!
